What you'll do

We are looking for a Financial Accountant to strengthen our financial team.

Among other financial accounting duties you will:

• Participate in the financial process to assure timely and accurate accounting at each month end 
• Resolve accounting discrepancies as appropriate.
• Assist in internal and external audit requests.
•  Manage accurate accounting processes to assure compliance with SOX.

Who are we looking for

• Relevant Finance/Accounting degree required (HBO)
• Minimum of 3 years work experience in Financial Accounting
• Fluent in English and Dutch
• Affinity with IT on ERP systems (PeopleSoft/SAP), MS office (Excel) etc
• Needs charisma to keep things moving/done, problem solving skills
• Ability to work positively and collaboratively within a team and respect deadlines
• Ability to understand, anticipate and respond to the needs of stakeholders in the short, medium and long term.
• Has to be hands-on and has an in-depth understanding of accounting
