Internship Research & Development

We are looking for candidates

• Who are creative;
• Who like problem solving;
• Who are able to bring theory into practice.

And, preferably with expertise in one of the following areas:

• Machine learning
• Applied mathematics
• IT Technologies
• Econometrics

This position is only open to students that are in their last stage of their Master of Science (MSc) or Bachelor of Applied Sciences/Engineering.

• You will be based at either our Rotterdam or Amsterdam office;

• Master students receive 1.396,80 euro (grow month allowance) based on a combined function of two days as a student assistant and three days internship. For Bachelor positions, the gross monthly allowance is 1.192,80 euro.

R&D Labs

Since its establishment, Ortec Finance has put innovation through applied scientific research and IT developments on the forefront. Our research and innovation activities are concentrated within the Ortec Finance R&D Labs.

We work and experiment with both new modelling approaches and IT techniques and concepts in order to research their applicability to investment decision-making. R&D Labs aims to be the linking pin between Ortec Finance and the scientific research community. It performs innovative, high-quality research with a strong practical focus. We collaborate with students, academics and external parties to design the future of investment decision making.
