Supply Chain Innovator

As Supply Chain Innovator you become part of the team within Van Oord which is constantly looking for ways to make Van Oord’s Supply Chain, more reliable, more efficient and better structured.Together with your colleagues you will take ownership over one-or multiple innovative topics acting as a project manager taking lead in development and execution of innovations.

Your responsibilities

You will be end-to end responsible for bringing innovations to Van Oord’s Supply Chain. You recognize opportunities to improve and take ownership of building your business case. Defining the objective aligned with the internal clients and stakeholders is a crucial part of your role. Together you will take care of the realization and integration of different innovative opportunities.You will learn about the company’s strategic objectives and how to contribute to the Procurement objectives. You understand the importance of enhancing the role of the Procurement department towards the different Business Units, but also innovating the internal processes and procedures. This role both offers and requires a lot of flexibility and a mindset to deliver to your clients and stakeholders.

Job requirements

This is what you need to bring to the table for this role:

• At least a bachelor degree;
• A background in Business Administration, Project Management or Supply Chain Management
• Experienced with ERP, Microsoft Office and ability to learn quickly about new applications and systems
• Affinity with analysing processes, optimization and project management;
• An eye for change. How to involve, motivate and connect your important stakeholders
• Strong analytical skills
• You master the English language
